While we enjoy having a dip in the pool or at the beach on a warm summer’s day, the extreme heat is a serious issue for our pets. The number of cases we see of heat stressed animals is increasing despite it being a preventable issue.

In the event that you have a stray animal in your possession, the first place to call is your local council. They provide services for collection of stray animals both during normal business hours and also after hours, every day of the year, so they should ALWAYS be able to help. However, in the event that your local council are unable to provide assistance, Bundoora Veterinary Clinic will always accept the animal into our facility.
