Bundoora Veterinary Clinic and Hospital is a long established small animal hospital in Melbourne, we are well set up to offer routine as well as emergency veterinary care. We are staffed 24 hours per day 7 days per week and are equipped with all of the technology needed to provide up to date modern veterinary care. Our equipment includes on site digital radiography, ultrasonography, video endoscopy and pathology.
We are able to offer the full range of routine veterinary care including vaccinations, desexing, parasite control and feeding and general care advise. We can also manage the illnesses and injuries that commonly crop up in pets including vomiting, diarrhoea, allergies and wounds. With our hospital facilities we are also able to manage the more complex and challenging illnesses which require more intensive investigation and management. We commonly treat and manage many complicated medical conditions including pancreatitis, diabetes, hyperadrenocorticism (Cushings Syndrome) and seizures. We also offer surgical management for many conditions including gastric dilation and volvulus (GDV), pyometron, lacerations and fractures.
Many of our veterinarians have post graduate qualifications in various disciplines including emergency and critical care, feline medicine, canine medicine and small animal surgery. We also have a canine medicine specialist on staff.
We are very aware that modern veterinary care can be expensive so whilst we recommend pet insurance to remove the financial burden we also work closely with owners to offer treatment options with different costs. We will however never compromise on our high standards of compassion and patient welfare.
